Those images where you’re not stuck in a stuffy pose or staring straight into my camera are my absolute favorite. I love to capture genuine laughter. I love to capture adorable kisses. I love to capture kiddos being silly. Why??

Well for one, some posing can make you feel really stuffy and uncomfortable. I want you to feel good in your photographs. I want to capture the real YOU! I want you to look at your sweet fiancé and laugh. I want you to tickle your kids, so we get them in full out cheezin’ mode! It may sound crazy now, but you’ll appreciate it later 🙂

Second, the more I can get you to laugh and loosen up the more you’ll feel comfortable in front of my camera. Let’s be honest, the first 15 minutes of a session are always awkward. It’s not you. I promise. I’d bet none of my clients have professionally modeled before, so you shouldn’t be able to just rock a session without my help. But guess what?! I’ll be there to help you and together we will fight off the nerves and awkwardness of this photo session you’ve been preparing for like crazy.

Third, even though those perfect portrait shots make great framers and even better gifts, those laughing shots and images filled with genuine emotion will be the images you love and cherish forever. I totally want to give you those!
