SPRING IS ALMOST COMPLETELY HERE TO STAY IN VIRGINIA!  Well, I hope that is the case.  Taking your sweet puppy to pee every hour is a lot better when it’s not freezing outside.  I can’t believe it’s already March.  Cody will have lived here a year in April and I’m amazed at how quickly time has flown by.  T-minus two years until the Texas boy is back in Texas!!  Funny story, the other night Cody looked at me and said, “Would you be upset if I told you I wanted to move somewhere else instead of home after I get out of the Navy?” and in my mind I was like WHAT, CRAP, NO, WHERE IS THIS COMING FROM?!  I told him I would definitely discuss it with him and would be open minded it to whatever he had in mind.  He said, “Well I’m not open minded about it.  I’m not living anywhere else but Texas”.  Not where I was expecting that go, y’all! Crazy kid!

Anyways, back to the point of this blog post.  It is pretty much spring in Virgina now.   We let Tripp adventure through First Landing State park on Tuesday.  It was in the high 70’s around here.  He LOVED it, but after 45 minutes or so he kept looking at me like, “Mom, I’m so tired. Can we please stop walking? Mom, please.”  Poor little guy or poor lazy guy – whichever you prefer!  Hehe!  Cody’s good friend, Hansen (that’s his last name – navy life probs), tagged along with us and brought his itty bitty + cute beagle, Chewie.  Mr. Chewie doesn’t like that he’s not as big as Tripp and boy does he try to establish his dominance.  Meanwhile, Tripp is like “SQUIRREL!”, has no clue and just wants to play.  Pretty funny stuff!
