This family has been apart of my life since I was 8, 9, or 10 – I don’t really remember, but you get the point.  I’ve known them forever.  I remember when Drew was just this little tiny thing and even though I’m not too terribly older than him, I am still feeling all different kinds of OLD!  I say this all the time, but I am never NOT amazed at how quickly time flies.  I feel like I was just hugging Drew and his family at my wedding and that has already been a YEAR ago! 

So here we are now and Drew is getting ready to graduate from Fairfield High School this spring. He is going to join McClennan’s ROTC program, which I personally think is AWESOME!  He has been steady working on scholarships and I know from personal experience it is the most tiring and stressful experience for an 18 year old kid.  You might not believe me, but I promise you it is. 

I’m so thankful I got to spend time with Drew, his mama & daddy, and his sweet boy, Buddy!  He’s adorable let me tell ya!  I say Drew gets to take him to college, not so sure about Mom & Dad though! 😉
