A Texas photographer’s dream… a proposal at Enchanted Rock right before sunset. What makes it even more special? Bree is a dear friend of mine, one who is a photographer herself, and I know she will cherish the beauty and emotion that these images share with the world! I’m so thankful Mason contacted me and that I was able to head southbound 35 to do this for Bree! It was an honor and a blast!!
If you’ve ever been to Enchanted Rock before, you know it’s just a big beautiful rock. There’s not many trees and it can be sort of hard to camouflage yourself up there. Okay, really hard to camouflage yourself actually. Cody and I were semi-convinced Bree was going to see and notice us in an instant, but luckily she had zero clue we were up there waiting and armed with cameras to capture the whole thing. THANK GOODNESS! We were SO nervous! Cody even said, “I think I’m more nervous than Mason actually.” HA!!
Mason and Bree eventually made it to the proposal spot! They snapped a few pictures with Bree’s camera, Mason secretly gave us a thumbs up, reached for the ring down inside his boot (how Texan of him), and dropped to his knee. Bree threw her hand up to her mouth and I know at that moment she was the happiest girl in the world!
While he was asking her to be his wife, I ran down the rock with my camera to get closer shots and Cody followed behind and took some perfect video clips! Of course, she said yes, they kissed & hugged, and then she saw me! (Ironically, she thought I was mad at her because she knew I was in town, yet I totally blew her off! Oh well, it worked!!! π After the proposal, we began taking some gorgeous golden hour images of this sweet couple in the most perfect proposal spot! They were so smitten and it was absolutely adorable!!
This day was perfect. This experience was amazing!! I’m so happy I could this for my sweet friend and her future husband and this time I got to have my hubby by my side during the whole thing!! I hope you enjoy this amazing Enchanted Rock proposal and enjoy their sweet video! Cody really blew me away!!! π
