I thought it was crazy when I got married, but now it’s even crazier that my friends are getting married too! Today is this gorgeous bride’s wedding day!  Right now she is having her first look with her husband-to-be and I’m there squealing with happiness for them behind my camera!!  Y’all, it’s true, weddings make me cry, squeal, and smile! 🙂

I went to high school with sweet Alyssa and I’m so proud of what she has accomplished since the four short years since we busted out of Corsicana High School.  I know she will be such an amazing nurse and I can’t wait to watch her new little family grow in the years to come.  Best part of being a photographer… real life happens and unfolds before my eyes and there isn’t anything more rewarding than that.

I met Alyssa at the Methodist church here in Corsicana.  This church has always blown me away with it’s architecture and it’s beauty.  It’s a wonderful place for bridals or any session for that matter.  After weeks of rescheduling due to weird and usually non-existent Texas summer rain, we finally got this session in!  We also got attacked by massive, swarming mosquitoes.  It was like a scene from a scary movie to be honest.  I know I itched for days, so I just want to give a huge thanks to Alyssa & her mama for being such good sports about our struggle.  Haha! 🙂
