As a photographer, I strive to shoot for people that undoubtedly trust my vision and my work. People who just click with who I am and what I strive to be as a photographer and a storyteller. James and Jennifer were one of those special couples who just really made me love what I do even more; simply because they trusted me to document their wedding day with my whole heart and all of my creativity.

From the outside, people often view wedding photography just another expensive part of a wedding day that couples shell out thousands for, but it’s really more than that. These pictures will live on forever while all the decor, the food, and gifts is forgotten.

Jennifer had an amazing vision. From her bridal session, which brought her to tears after finally seeing it all come together, all the way up until the very moment she said, “I do.” She wanted something different and unique. Her vision was simple, but intricately executed. Honestly, this girl should just become a wedding decorator. Just wait until you see what I’m talking about.

This sweet little backyard bohemian wedding makes my heart so happy. But, you know what else makes me happy? Getting to see James and Jennifer start a life together built on a solid foundation of their love for each other and the support from the people who love them. Saying goodbye to them when the day was over was so hard! I come to love my couples so much after engagements and bridals and long wedding days. Jennifer cried, I cried, and heck even James was all sentimental about it. When the groom thanks you repeatedly, you know you knocked it out of the park! <3
