What a crazy and fun year it has been! Juggling shooting weddings with my student teaching, senior spokesmodels, and moving my husband home from Virginia and out of then Navy was no small feat. I cut myself off at shooting 8 weddings and I’m so thankful I did because I was able to serve my bride and grooms better that way! Yet… there are still tons of favorite images in this blog post and it is far longer than I anticipated!

This year I was able to travel a lot thanks to my amazing bride and grooms! I shot in the Texas Hill Country, the mountains of Colorado, and on the beaches of Pensacola. Each wedding day held a unique story that I’m so thankful to have been apart of! It has been the biggest blessing to watch these love stories evolve and grow far long after the wedding day!

Although 2018 brings about another year of change for my little business… I’m still shooting weddings and I’m so excited for the new stories I get to tell! Until then… here are a “few” of my favorite story-telling pictures from the last year!! Best of the best weddings… here we go! Starting off with sweet Paco & Marcey!!

Marcey… what a sweet and courageous bride! Although the day was rough… she conquered like no other! I was so proud of her!

Nick & Chelsea – my Navy people who whisked me off to Florida! I just love this father/son hug and smile combo.

The Autrey’s – Someone near and dear to my heart got married this summer and I’ve never seen him happier! I think the picture on the left says it all. <3

Cameron & Jordan – A huge church wedding with lots of love! Got in a wreck on the way to this one and I will never forget it! Thankful for the kindness they both showed me on their big day!!

Bodee & Lauren were sweet all the way around. He loves her without a doubt and I can see it in his eyes! They are about to welcome twin baby boys and I cannot wait to watch their family grow!! 🙂

Mason & Bree – I long awaited this day! A whirlwind weekend in Colorado led to some of my most favorite images I’ve ever shot and memories I will never forget! Just look at their faces… they’re going to rock at marriage.

Jacob & Megan – the most laid back people in this world! I loved watching their wedding day happen without them having a care in the world! Just wait until you see their cake!
