There’s just something special about weddings in the country and the people that make them happen. Everything seems to happen at a slower pace… there’s less pressure of “performance”…no one make us the music down… the stress kind of just melts away eventually. Add in a sweet bride who really, really trusts her photographer and bam – all of those things really help create an easy wedding day for us.

I’ve heard of the one and only Carly Hooser since my high school years, but I never got the chance to really meet her. When you come from a small place like we do… you know of a lot of people that you may never actually meet. Years later down the road… I marry one of her high school classmates, she gets engaged to her high school sweetheart, and the stars align for us to actually “know” each other. It has been a blessing spending time with both Joseph and Carly over the last year. Watching their wedding come together was so much fun and I’m honored they chose me to be apart of their big day.

These two have so much in common and such a solid foundation to grow their marriage on. It’s going to be one of those love stories I’ll gladly follow through the years and I can’t wait to watch their love deepen and grow over the years.
