In the year 2016, young women grow up in a difficult world.  A world where looking, feeling, and being good enough can consume them.  Rarely do you see girls lifting each other up, empowering one another, and giving each other the understanding that they are all facing similar battles in life. 

My goal for the Maddie Ray Photography Senior Rep Crew is to promote unity.  Create a tribe. Help establish real friendships based on loving one another’s differences.  I feel I can create oneness between young women with a little help from my camera.  I will get them together, help them get to know each other, and watch them empower through being a MRP Senior Rep.  I am so excited for the MRP Senior Rep Crew to take flight this coming summer!  I feel extremely blessed to be able to influence these young women and show them the value of their worth. 

When I think of the community I want to create between my senior girls, I know a quote that describes it perfectly.  I want these girls to FIND THEIR TRIBE.  I want them to have valuable friendships, exactly like the one in this quote: 

“Find Your Tribe. You know, the ones that make you feel the most YOU. The ones that lift you up and help you remember who you really are. The ones that remind you that a blip in the road is just that, a blip, and not to mistake it for an earthquake, and even it were to be an earthquake, they’d be there with the Earthquake Emergency Supply Kit. They are the ones that, when you walk out of a room, they make you feel like a better person than when you walked in. They are the ones that, even if you don’t see them face to face as often as you’d like, you see them heart to heart. You know, that kind of tribe?”- Jennifer Pastiloff

That’s a good one right? I think all women, young and old, need valuable relationships like the one above.  So why not start learning how to form one now?  Cue the MRP Senior Rep Crew. 🙂 

The MRP Senior Rep Crew application closes today at 5PM.  As I have begun sorting through the applications, I am amazed with all the wonderful girls who have already applied.  My decision will definitely be a difficult one.  I have a short five days to choose eight girls to represent Maddie Ray Photography, so wish me luck! 

I can’t wait for the fun and exciting times ahead with my brand new MRP senior girls!! I’m so thankful this is my job and I know it will be a blast!!
